NJYD E-Board Reshuffled; Dávila Switzer & McKoy Join Board

Due to the pending nuptials of NJYD President Marshall Spevak and Treasurer Andrea Katz later this year, Andrea has resigned from the position of Treasurer in order to avoid any potential conflicts of interest with NJYD's finances. Therefore, the NJYD Executive Board met on Tuesday, February 21st in Middlesex County and confirmed the following individuals for new positions within the board:

 

New Board
President: Marshall Spevak (Camden)
Executive Vice President: Christina Zuk (Monmouth)
National Committeeman: Charles Burton (Middlesex)
National Committeewoman: Andrea Katz (Bergen)
Vice President (North): Michael Makarski (Hudson)
Vice President (Central): Brandon McKoy (Mercer)
Vice President (South): Jade Mostyn (Camden)
Treasurer: Amanda Dávila Switzer (Burlington)
Secretary: Kristin Ianco (Middlesex)

Jessica Stewart (Camden) will remain in a singular role as NJYD Co-Finance Director.

All appointments were approved unanimously.

Central Vice President Brandon McKoy: Brandon lives in Trenton and is a Policy Analyst for New Jersey Policy Perspective. He has been involved in the past in the NJYD Black Caucus. Brandon also serves as the Deputy Chapter Director of New Leaders Council -- New Jersey.

Treasurer Amanda Dávila Switzer: Amanda most recently served as Finance Director for Congressman Josh Gottheimer's campaign in NJ-5 where she oversaw a record breaking $4.7 million in campaign donations. Previously she's worked as Finance Director for Aimee Belgrad's campaign for Congress and Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker.

All appointments and board positions are effective through this summer when NJYD meet's for its regularly scheduled elections in conjunction with the New Jersey Democratic State Committee's Annual Conference in Atlantic City.
