Super Tuesday YD Watch Parties
Yes, it's already here- Super Tuesday is just one day away! Tomorrow, more delegates to the U.S. presidential nominating conventions will be won than on any other day in this election cycle; traditionally, presidential candidates must do well on Super Tuesday to secure their party's nomination. Four New Jersey Young Dem organizations will be hosting watch parties for the event tomorrow, specifically in Atlantic, Bergen, Essex and Morris Counties.

The 2016 elections are upon us, and the Latino vote will be instrumental for Democrats to claim the White House in 2016. Recent studies show that there are 27 million, or 11.95% of Latinos, registered to vote, up by 4 million since 2012. Latinos comprise 10% of the electorate.

'Preparing to Lead' Convention this Saturday
LIVINGSTON, NJ – The New Jersey High School Democrats (NJHSD), College Democrats of New Jersey (CDNJ), and New Jersey Young Democrats (NJYD) will hold their first joint convention on February 13 at Princeton University Frist Campus Center. The convention aims to provide networking and educational opportunities to students, and will highlight the efforts and growth of the three Democratic youth organizations in the lead-up to the presidential election in November.

On Thursday, November 17, 2015, at the Morris County Democratic Committee's annual Holiday Party, Morris County Young Democrats Co-Chair Oliver "Ollie" M. Starnes II became the first recipient of the Morris County Young Democrat of the Year Award from the Morris County Democratic Committee & The Morris County Young Democrats. The Morris County Young Democrats voted on the recipient at their last general meeting with Ollie receiving an overwhelming majority of the votes.
